This week in citrus fruit....

After a long, but exciting weekend, the beginning of this week was quite rough. American History was beyond a snoozer on Monday and 7 cups of coffee and a few awake teas could not keep me awake yesterday in my 10 hours of classes. Lindsay and I were up late last nite trying to be cool on twitter- I think we're destined to be boring twitterers.... tweeters?? I'm not sure... we think we're now simply "twats" (sorry, mom!). ba dum ching! Anyway, I thought today was gonna be rough... but my Black and White as Color class was lovely. We celebrated our 5th and FINAL week of painting oranges!

My table mate, Tim working hard....

My OTHER table mate, Sean who clowns around and makes me laugh for 6 hours straight

Hub for dinner, darkroom for dessert....
Bruce Springsteen, the fam, and everything else awesome about Jersey this weekend!

So my room is upside down, disorganized and germ infested. Lindsay gave me her cold and I've since owned my life in oranges and nyquil... I think I'll be ready to take the world on tomorrow. Anyway, I told Lindsay I would clean while she worked on her French homework which I'm very clearly not doing and should be...

cameras, computers, sleeping bags, furry friends, and my favorite little hard working room/life mate....

The mov mou boys had a show at the stood last nite, which was super awesome! There were a whole ton of sweaty cutie pies rockin out and singing along. They played really well and looked great....

After that, shenanigans. We ran around campus being hot messes and somehow a whole ton of people ended up back here, which ruled. Kirby and I discovered 20 sporks that I, apparently, stole from taco bell at some point which was so much more exciting than it sounds. I had no idea what time it was until everyone left and we realized it was 5am. I had to monitor at 10, so my ting tings ringtone woke all the clowns up at 9:30. I took an awesome nap and then celebrated this beautiful day. I can't wait for this whole weekend. I'll keep updating...

I really need music suggestions.....

May angels lead you in...

It's officially been 2 months since she's been gone. She is my inspiration and my annual reminder we can all be something bigger. She shaped me into who I am today. I'll never forget Sydney. I miss her so much...

cobrah, I hope you're dancing with Michael Jackson and saving all of us dates with Heath Ledger. If there are cell phones up there, get me Elvis's number?? I love you so much, baby

So Lindsay and I got 3 additional room mates this weekend... they play cool rock shows then come back to our dorm for a lot of giggles and just a little bit of sleep. They weren't around last nite, and I have to be honest... it was a little sad not waking up to a bunch of clowns rolling around on the floor, making me start my day off laughing hysterically. Anyway, previous to our Saturday nite sleep over party, the boys in Moving Mountains played at Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut.....

Hell, I still love you, New York

So last weekend, we went on an off campus adventure to the lovely city. Lindsay and I watched our good friends, "Uncle" Frank and Kirby geek out while guitar shopping. We didn't understand what they were saying but it was really cool to see them so excited. We went to some store that Ryan Adams goes to a lot and there was some weird instrument he used on "Easy Tiger" which was SO cool to see. Anyway, I took a bunch of 35mm photos of the clowns... the scans aren't great but I guess they get the job done....

There are nights when I think that Sal Paradise was right...

I don't really know how to start off this blog. I guess I'll just preface it by saying it's going to be a collection of my favorite people doing lots of things. I'll probably make a lot of hold steady and references and there will be a whole ton of positivity. That's really all I can promise.
